Hi Does anyone know if a encoder can be retrofit to this baldor servo. I haven`t seen many servos but this one looks difficult to deal with since there is no projection of the top shaft. Thanks, Barry |

| I'm kinda ingnorant about the insides of dc motors, but is that a tach on the back of that motor? If so, it seems like you can take that off and replace it with an encoder On 2nd look, it does look like you'll have problems. I recently put an encoder on our dynomometer by extending the shaft. Where the heck is the rear bearing on that thing? |
