    IMS Servos...

I'm looking to outfit a IH mill with ballscrews from homeshopcnc.com and servos from cadcamcadcam.com. I'm going to get the servos with the 2.8:1 reduction. This gives 60 oz continuous, and 500 peak stall at 1000 RPM. I believe this should be sufficient. I also want to drive them with Gecko's, because I believe they are brushed DC servos. I don't think the encoders should have any problems with Mach2 either. If anyone has any experience or comments on these motors and Gecko's, it would be greatly appreciated.
