Can anyone help me out? I have three 635 series 2HP Eurotherm (now SSD drives) AC brushless servo drives and controllers. These drives can take a standard step direction input through their X40 port. This port however needs to be set to this mode with some software called "easyrider" which connects to the drives via an RS232 interface. As far as I can tell this software is supplied with the drives from new. I have searched for it in all the usual places and I have contacted SSD enquiring about purchasing a copy but as of yet have receive no response (SSD obviously does not see a hobbiest with some second hand products to be a worthwhile customer!). Can anyone offer and help or advise? Its burning me up having three industrial servos sat on the bech doing nothing. |

| Did you contact SSD by phone in their Charlotte NC office? If not it may be worth the phone call and ask to speak to a technical representative, I found sometimes this gets faster results. (704) 588-3246. Someone may have, or know where you can get a copy. Al.
