This is my very first post to cnczone! I am designing a special purpose cnc turning machine. So far, after a lot of search, I am quite intrigued by Teknic's servo motors and drive combination. I plan to use galil controller, mainly because their development environment seems to be more approachable.

I was little discouraged by what I read on this forum about Teknic's business model. I do understand the OEM model, and my application is one-off, but I do need a cost effective but professional servo solution. If my client likes the solution, I see they buying 10-20 such machines.

My question is, can I buy say 3-5 servo motors and drives from Teknic? I don't need any support as their documentation is excellent.
