    Aerotech + fanuc

    HI!
I connected optional incremental encoder ( 2000 cpr) witht Hall 8 pole outs to Fanuc 20F A06B-0352-B731 .
I have tuned hall encoder out signal with motor back emf - it is ok,
I'm trying to control motor by Aerotech BA30-320
Motor spins cw/ccw, but at low rpm no stability, I can stop rotor by hand!
Motor can spin about 2000 rpm
it seems no incremental feedback, only Hall - but incremental encoder connected (Sin, Cos )
I checked the BA-30 settings several times ( have full manual) , changed JP14 position ( encoder to tachometr ) - motor spins without any changes.
Can any help with BA-30 ?
    Thank You

I am presently testing some motors on a B30-320 I have used the factory jumper settings,
    except JP14 I am using 2-3.

    I tried JP14 1-2 and 2-3 - there is no difference
If to disconnect Sin Cos incremental signal - motor spina without changes (slightly increases the speed). I use velocity mode, with all JP by manual.
resolution by manual 1000 -1500 cpr., I use 2000 cpr - is this problem ?

"I do not connect resolver just hall effect commutation" - and You have good result ?
Sin Cos feedback signals - is this rectangular pulses are real sinusoidal signal ( like resolver)?
Why can I stop the engine by hand - and the amplifier is not trying to fight ?
    Thank You!

In the manual I have it is section 2.4.2. and fig 2-6 Current Command Configuration.
The one you refer to is the Velocity command config?
I do not have the encoder hooked up, just a battery box. I have it on the bench right now setting up some CUI BLDC encoders.
In the current mode the POTs are set to INPUT CW and Gain fully CCW
    See 2.5.1.

I use the next 3-3-2 works fine.
Are you using a battery box?

    Sure the drive is OK?
    Is it used?
Disconnect power Short the motor phases out and see how hard it is to turn.
