| My servo motors are rated at 85vdc 7amps,and are the motors that came with on the mill when I bought it,after putting power to the machine I took a reading at the motor input and it read 100vdc. Should I be making sure that it only puts out 85vdc max or should it be less,I will be using viper 200 drives and mach3. Any help would be great. Thanks Mike |

| With PWM drives you can control the voltage mean level in order that the motor does not exceed its maximum rpm. 100v on a 85v motor will do no harm, per-se, only if it was continuous causing overspeeding. Al.
