my budget is limited and i need servo motors for a cnc table (4' x 8') they can give me his opinion on this conversion? http://truetex.com/servomod.htm and this motor will work ? http://www.surpluscenter.com/item.as...-1723&catname= is for a gecko drive G320 Than you |

| General use DC motors are not made to the same specs as DC servo motors, Servo motors usually have more poles, skewed rotors and are balanced for high rpm. I have seen all types of motors that were Treadmill duty and all appear to be less than the normal manufacturers specs. One I saw was a Baldor and had servo motor - Treadmill duty on the label. On inspection, the pole count appeared to be much lower than the regular Baldor servo. I would be more inclined to get high quality servo's off ebay if you have limited budget. Al.
