| Hi I am looking for some info on some Pittman servo motors... Here is all the information I have so far.. Pittman 6501033 Rev D 24VDC 400 CPR 05-23-00 (Date?) 9434J817-R1 thanks and any information on which servo drive I'd need..I'd be very greatful..I'm not even sure what type of servo they are BLDC etc..? I am new to the servo motor world. ![]() I have the other stuff sorted out I think.. Here are some contenders for servo drives : - Tell me if they are suitable. DeskCNC GeckoDrive Many thanks! | Pittman are typically small DC brushed motors. The 24vdc limits them a bit. If you can post a shot of the encoder end it may be possible to identify the encoder? Al.

| Thanks for the reply Al.. I will get a photo of the encoder soon. It will be for a low load application so the servos don't have to be super strong. If brushed dc I think I will probably go for the deskcnc drives..the encoder has 5 wires coming from it if I remember correctly - I'll have to check again over at the studio.. If 5 wires it's probably a 2 channel encoder like on the datasheets I've seen..right? Ok I'm not sure about the hall sense assembly..is that to do with endstops? The servo has a 1 and 2 with 2 wires from each - this is different to the datasheet with hall sense. thanks Rencio |
