I was installing the encoders on my servo motor. I took the end plate off, so that the encoder wires could go through the plate, and would be sealed off in the factory configuration. The end part that has (2) magnets in it came off, too. Hopefully this is just for the tachometer or something. I've read where people remove the magnets in their servo, and then it is ruined. Did this damage anything? It would seem that if something was so disastrous, it wouldn't come apart so easily. But, I've been wrong there before. ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks , JAckal

| It looks like you just removed the PM for the tach, if so it is no big deal, most drives now do not require a tach in the torque mode, so when you reassemble it, just leave the tach brushes out. Al.
