A few years ago I bought 4 servos that I believe are AC 2 phase. They were made by General Kinetics in 1984 under a Fed contract and look like tape drive servos. There are 4 wires and 2 windings. First winding is 63 ohms and the second winding 90 ohms. I opened one up and they are brushless and the rotor is solid. I don't know the voltage ratings for the motors or what driver would be used. If anyone knows more about this, please let me know. Or, maybe how to use these with a DIY controller. I would like to use them for a new CNC. Thanks for the help. |
