AMT BD30A Servo Drives going to work here?

I'm trying to get my servo config down here. I'm doing a RF45 conversion and want to use the Keilling 850oz DC servo motors. I found some BD30A8B drives pretty cheap. I'm looking to use the AMT encoders for Keiling as well. I know these drives will worth on both brushed and brushless motors. What I don't know is will I be able to run them in EMC in closed loop? They are PWM/dir drives.

Also are they even decent servo drives? I seem them from $80 up to $500 for the same drive. From the looks on the spec sheet it's PWM only. I'm new to servo's and just looking for the right setup.

You will want to start here; NC-Mill-How-To
    and here, LinuxCNC.org - HostMot2 Driver .

    Hope this helps,

I forgot to put what electronics I was thinking might be what I needed. I'm definitely going either 5i20 or 5i23. For the daughter cards for the drives I'm thinking the 7i37TA might be what I want for a PWM/Dir scheme.
