Have some servos (on a machine) that read as such (see pic for full data): stall torque: 1.6nm rated speed: 3000 rpm kt: 0.16 nm/a bemf: 16.5 v/krpm rated curr: 10A So will G320's fit the bill? What size toroidal transformer for 3 or 4 axis? Thanks! |

| From the nameplate data, it appears that you will need ~50V Dc (3*16.5) and for a 4 axis machine, I would rate the current flow at ~(4*10*.66) or 26 Amps based on previous discussions that I have read here and elsewhere. Also, I see this unit has a tachometer and you will need an encoder to work with the Gecko. If you add an encoder, try to find one that uses <50ma current supply @5V or you will have to have a separate power supply for that. The AMT encoders seem to be in favor at the present time for the Geckos and can be found at DigiKey. Hope this helps.

| 1.6N-m = 1.18 lb-ft (226 0z-in). To allow for losses etc, I would go at least 60vDC for the supply. Usually the minimum voltage rating for the supply is motor terminal voltage +10% min. Al.
