teknic sst 3000 servo drive | | Hi All
I know this is not an easy one as Teknic do not offer any help to end users.
I have an sst 3000 drive that is showing a problem with THERMAL cutout.
Using quickset soft.
There are two posibilities I know of, one is the motor thermostat connection which is not needed to enable the drive, but possibly the circuit board is registering a faulse reading. Where is the input from the pin going to on the board??. I cant follow it as the connector strip covers the lines.
The second possibility is there is a sensor somewhere for overheat of the board but i cant find it!!
Any help greatfully recived
John Update
OK solved the Thermal problem, found a LM35 that was faulty.
New problem is that I cannot enable the drive. Limits are closed and I hav tried +5v, ground and seperate +5v. to no avail. Quick set does not show any problems and the drive indicator light is steady.
I belive connecting enable pin to +5v should enable the drive or am I missing something???
Cheers John
