I have a Hitachi Seiki VK45 milling machine that uses Sanyo Denki BL Super
Servo drives and motors. I want to add a fourth axis so I need a compatible drive/motor with my machine. Problem is, finding information about the drives I have so I can find something similar that will work, Mitsubishi, ABB, AMC, Fanuc.....whatever!


This is the model numbers for my X axis:

This is a BIG motor; I do not need anything that powerful for my fourth.

What I need is general information on the BL series, size, torque, wattage, rpm, frame size, ect. Which motors are compatible with which drives and such.

There are lots of the BL series for sale but without specifications, I cannot choose the proper combination and they are worthless. I would prefer to use some other brand of drive from a company that one can easily find documentation on older products; Sanyo is not one of them! Nothing on their web site about the BL series at all.
