Hi, I have a Yaksawa single phase 220V SGDH Drive and a matched SGMPH motor. The motor has an absolute encoder and a brake. I am trying to JOG the motor from the Panel Operator. I have the motor and encoder plugged into the Drive and I can set Fn002 to "jog" but ... what do I need to do to release the brake ? The manual is not that helpful. The shaft will not spin when not powered so I assume the brake is holding it. The motor has U, V, W connected to the drive. Do I need to provide +24V to lines 5 and 6 on the motor to release the brake before I "jog" the motor from the Panel Operator ? I do not have anything plugged into CN1 as the manual indicates you can Jog the motor with out this. But since I am not using CN1 I have nothing connected to /BK+ and /BK-. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin |
