i have a big problem with analog servo system . in digital driver, when pin S-ON is active, and dont have any pulse in input, we see that shaft motor is Motionless and LOCK(if we want turn shaft with hand , we dont can) but in analog drive, when i set 0V for input ,motor is motionless BUT i can turn shaft motor with hand. why? | In digital mode, the servo drive's outer control loop is position control and it will keep the encoder count from moving. In analog control the position loop is disabled and the outer loop is just the speed loop. It will try to hold zero speed, but will not try hold position at all. You would need an external position controller to hold position by varying the analog input to keep zero position error. |
