Hi, I'm new to CNC (and this board) and am looking for parts to build a 3-axis CNC machine, so far I've aquired the ballscrews (2xNTNC1 for xy, and 1xNSKC3 for z) and rails (HSR25) and spent around $1,200. I am now looking for servo motors and have been looking at Yaskawa drives over the last couple of days. To cut a long story short, I've seen a 400W SGMPH model being sold as a set with driver however from my research on past postings the older SGDA drive should not be compatible with the new motor due to the increased encoder resolution, is this correct? |
