    Talking Servo Specs...

    Hi,

I will be getting the sieg X3 machine some time in June or July. I will be doing a conversion on the mill. I have some parts with lots of curves that I need to make a lot of. I would like to try to start getting parts for the conversion but need a little help.
I called about the Clifton 30V servos, but they are out and will not be getting more... a great price on those. I have seem electro craft model #543 and #510 quite a bit. Does anyone know or have spec's on these? Anyone have any leads on any servo's priced like the Clifton's? I have also seen Ametek servo's, 30V, 40V, and 50V. I can't seem to find any Spec's tho. I would appreciate any numbers on those also.

    TIA

    Chuck

    Al,

Are the EC E543 and E510 servo the same? I did another search as you suggested, and found the E543 specs, thanks. I couldn't find the E510 tho. Do you have anything on the Ametek drives?

    Appreciate the help.

Here are a set of the clifton's, with the end machined for the encoders, and the encoders mounted and tested. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...518552936&rd=1

    Gerry,

Thanks for the heads up on the motors. Unfortunately I didn't read the reply till Sun. morning and Auction was over, bummer. I found these:

Different place and lower price... Would these be suitable for the X3 driving ballscrews?

    TIA
