Hi I am in the process of retrofitting a new controller for a Bridgeport clone milling machine. It was formerly driven by an Anilam 1100. The servo motors are Baldor units but I cant identify the model for certain as there was only one label remaining on any of the 3 servos and that was completely washed clean except for the Baldor name and a small part of a serial number. I cant find any information on older (mid 1990s) Baldor Brushed DC servo motors, looking at the current range, they seem to be the same size as the current 4070 model with a 16 pin connection. Were these same servos in use in the mid 1990s (My machine appears to be 1994 ish) or please can somebody point me towards a source of information for the older servos so that I can correctly identify these. The main thing I am after is the pin out connections so I guess it would be just as useful to know whether the pin outs are standard across the years. I would be grateful for any information on the topic. Thanks Paul |

| If you have the MTE MS3102 connector then the chances are that they are the same as the PDF. http://www.baldor.com/products/drawi...f/CD_M4000.pdf Especially if the motor, tach and shield leads conform to the pdf, then there is every likely hood the encoder will conform too. Al.
