Update: The seller was mistaken; there are no controllers builtin - they are gearboxs
According to name plate the motors are CM161BE rated at 170V 4.1A and Tc of 24 oz-in.
The gearboxes are very nice planetary type, roughly 1-4, yellow coloured, and with a label that says 'BAYER CORP Gear Motor Pigtail ATS0701290343'
'BAYER CORP Gear Motor Pigtail ATS0801360345'
Encoders are P/N 79482-017
3 thicker wires + only 2 small wires to motor, 13 pins on encoder connector but only 11 at the flying end of the lead: blue&white joins with red at one side, black joins with green&white at the other.
All connectors are 0.1" inline type.
I guess that the 2 small wires to the motor might be temp sensor hookups, with commutation signals handled by the encoder? I also know there are brushless motor drives that dont need hall signals to work, I dont know much about brushless motors so I could be way off.
Got no drives so may have to sell them I guess. Its a real shame but thats ebay I suppose - getting the sizzle but not the steak...
