Data request re Parker CM161BE-01039B and CM161BE-00815B Brushless Servo & Controller

Hi everyone,
Im gathering bits to make a gantry router from ITEM (European 8020 stuff) and just won a pair of Parker brushless servos with builtin drives and encoders.
I've scoured the Parker and compumotion sites; mine look like the iBe type but arent the right type number.
They are labelled CM161BE-01039B and CM161BE-00815B.
The listing is here:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2x-Parker-Moto...item3a590a8051
The photo is horribly blurred and they havent arrived yet so the data is from the seller.
If they are anything like the iBe types Im in luck. All the listing said was:

2x Parker Motors

These motors have a built in controller with optical feedback.

Brushless Servo

Removed from decommissioned robotic arms

more info available on the Parker website

Im fairly desperate to get these things going so any help would be very much appreciated.
Regards, Jim

Update: The seller was mistaken; there are no controllers builtin - they are gearboxs
According to name plate the motors are CM161BE rated at 170V 4.1A and Tc of 24 oz-in.
The gearboxes are very nice planetary type, roughly 1-4, yellow coloured, and with a label that says 'BAYER CORP Gear Motor Pigtail ATS0701290343'
'BAYER CORP Gear Motor Pigtail ATS0801360345'
Encoders are P/N 79482-017
3 thicker wires + only 2 small wires to motor, 13 pins on encoder connector but only 11 at the flying end of the lead: blue&white joins with red at one side, black joins with green&white at the other.
All connectors are 0.1" inline type.
I guess that the 2 small wires to the motor might be temp sensor hookups, with commutation signals handled by the encoder? I also know there are brushless motor drives that dont need hall signals to work, I dont know much about brushless motors so I could be way off.
Got no drives so may have to sell them I guess. Its a real shame but thats ebay I suppose - getting the sizzle but not the steak...
Photos below, any help re data, pinouts etc gratefully received.
Jim

Sorry to keep replying to my own thread but I've got more data that may help the next person to come across these things.
It seems (not confirmed) that they are Parker SM161BE or very similar. Named CM161BE due to gearbox?
Specs here:
http://www.parkermotion.com/literatu..._SE_Series.pdf
They appear to have 1000 line encoders with the hall signals coming from the encoders. Extra 2 wires from motor body are temp sensor.
Power and encoder wire colours are the same as in the flying lead section (Page 31) in the datasheet.
Gearbox is 1:4 (4 motor revs to 1 output rev) and is a very nice planetary gearbox. output shaft is 1/2".
Since I have no drives and most that come up on ebay arent positioning drives I shall sell them I think.
Anyone know of an open-source brushless drive? I cant find one and Im too involved with other stuff to devote the time needed to learning enough to design one.
I will list these on eBay soon but if anyone here wants them I will consider offers...

I don't know about open source brushless drives, but you might want to check this out.http://www.granitedevices.fi/index.php?q=home. He seems to have a nice product.
