Need Help!- Fanuc servo and spindle control with mach3

Hello every one,

Is there any guy around who used fanuc servo with mach3

I am very newer to fanuc systems. i had never used it before or converted!

there are surplus servo drives and spindle control from scratch machine.

the fanuc CNC control is old and i am going to replace to accept mach3's raw pulse and direction.

for Fanuc servos and spindle system model nos. found from the cabinet


1) A06B-6079-H203, 2.5Kw

2) A06B-6081-h106, 9.4Kw

3) a06b-6082-H211#512, 13.2Kw

To get full benefit of those servos I would suggest EMC2 rather than Mach as you will able to create a true closed loop system. Pico systems has reasonably priced boards that can tie everything together. http://pico-systems.com/oscrc4/catal...ex.php?cPath=4

But i am in confusion for perticular that model of drives! i tried googling but not found any satisfactory detailed info!!!

i needed help on finding connection diagram, parameter settings, tuning etc, etc... like adapting newer servo/VFD to controller soft. like mach 3 or any other. there is no issue on reliability for mach3. i don't know about Linux CNC. but have interest to try out EMC!!!
