SEM MT30 retrofit questions | |
I have a Dyna 3000 lathe which came with an SEM MT30 this is a 148vdc servo motor. I could control this manually prior to removing all of the electronics. It probably could have been computer controlled except the controller was missing so going the replacement route was too costly (I dont want 1980s electronics). So after looking at the spindle speed controller it looks like it takes a 0-10v signal which could be direct from my G540 I believe. There are quite a few other connections and or jumpers that need to be made. I would also like to have the manual override capabilities if at all possible. I read the set up manual and it explains how it works. Anyone here help? This is the controller. Actually this is for an MT40 but they look identical and I would think would operate the same too. I cant seem to post the page here. Will someone look at the diagram and let me know. Pm me and I can send you the files and my questions. Thanks, John
