Still working my way up the learning curve. Got Rutex drives with DC Servo motors. Can run the rutex tuning software (windows version thanks to art) and get the input from pot settings. If I increase Kd any motor starts spinning. Adding Kp doesn't help any. Tryed switching power leads, didn't help. When I load Mach2 I can actually make motor move, stop etc. But going in one direction it likes to fault. Moving the other direction does not cause problems. (This is with Kp, Kd, Ki all at zero) Slowed velocity, tried slow feed rates, same thing. Going to triple check encoder wiring today. Am I missing something? |

| Gentlemen, If you are having problems setting up Rutex drives, please give me a call at 573 341 1528. If I don't have the answer, I will get the answer for you. I ship the Rutex products to USA customers, and provide limited phone support. I have to admit that I don't visit this forum regularly. I have a number of years of experience building CNC equipment, and my favorite drives are the Rutex drives. This is why I do USA distribution for Rutex. I also use them in lathe control systems I have sold for the last three years. You should not have trouble setting up the Rutex drives. Tom Eldredge, Rutex Support, USA (573) 341 1528
