    Heidenhain encoder

I am trying to get information on an encoder. It is a Heidenhain ERO.
    The encoder is marked:
    ERO 120 500 F10
    iDNr 220 155 10 sNr 1551729.

I looked at Heidenhein's web site with no luck. I have emailed them but they will not be open until Monday and I would like to work on them before then.

I am trying to find out the voltage, count, and current draw.

    Thanks

    Vince

    Thumbs up

This thread is old, but I can add information so someone that has a similar problem can be more informed.
The Heidenhain ERO 120 is on SEM servo motors. This particular unit is a 500 line count encoder (signified by the "500" after the "ERO 120"). Outputs are far less than 1 V peak to peak. 15-17 micro according to the encoder label. Supply voltage is 5Vdc.
These are not available new from Heidenhain. You would have to contact SEM for replacement options. Of course there is a good company that repairs these routinely that can be found on the internet.
