Gentlemen,

My name is Tom Eldredge, and I ship the Rutex drives for customers located in the Americas. I have not checked this forum for a long time, and I can see that I should have before. Our USA office presently does the shipping and provides limited phone support. The interest in the Rutex products has been increasing steadily, and justifiably so. Vladimir is the designer of the Rutex products, and I am hoping to help free him from the hundreds of emails he gets each week from enthusiasts who are new to the world of CNC and have many questions regarding their projects that relate to the Rutex drives, but often are asking questions that others can answer.

I have at least two years of experience using the Rutex drives. I use them in a custom CNC control that we manufacture. I intend to start visiting this forum to help out with some of the questions, but I do not have all the answers either, and also cannot afford to spend the time answering emails that Vladimir does either. Rutex has some plans for some very interesting products, and I hope that together, we can free him from answering many of the same questions over and over again.

Thank you for your interest in the Rutex line of products. We can support you here in the USA.

Welcome Harmonyt, It will be good to have official representation in the Rutex part of the forum.
I think you will find that by just been here, potential buyers will take comfort in your online support.
It may pay to change the title under your name from "chip sweeper" to "Rutex Representative" This can be done in your profile section of the forum.

Since the CNC Zone is a collection of CNC machine makers, I would figure here is your highest consentration of potential buyers anywhere on the entire net.

It may pay to put on your web page a link to this site so that others can see where all the questions are been answered.

You mentioned in your other post about the possibility of starting a new forum in Yahoo.
I believe Yahoo is a bad place to represent great products like yours and others. It brings down the tone of the company. Can I suggest either using this forum or at least hosting your own. You will notice here that every thing is already set up for you.

In the mean time I hope you feel comfortable here, and find this is a place you descide to stay.

EDIT: Oh, and is there anything you would like to add to my tuning post. I am only 4 weeks new to Rutex and am no way an expert. I just wrote down what I worked out, but I am sure you could add a lot more accurate detail.
