no one can't help me? any specification? How to drive it? I'm new in servo's so any help would be usefull
ok, i got some copy-machine and i found dc servo brushless motor in there... so i want to drive it with my computer... i think that there are 11 wires... why? this is what is written on it:
DC BRUSHLESS SERVO MOTOR
FH7 - 1561 - TLO 146
DC 24V
KOKUSAN DENKI
MADE IN JAPAN
MFG. LOT NO. 2A28
and here is the picture of it http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...o/DSC00057.jpg
thanks for any help

There will be 2 for power 6 for encoder and 3 for hall commutation.
Which is which will be another question. There should also be another three for motor itself.

what is hall comunication? how accurate is this servo motor?
tnx for answers
Unless someone here has the details your only hope is to try and contact the manuf.
They may be part of Sanko Denki?
Hall effect switches (or equivalent) is used to commutate the motor. the electronic version of a DC motor commutator.

is there any webpages with specs of servo motors?
Without info, your only hope is to 'reverse engineer' it by trying to trace and identify the connections. A working knowledge of Brushless DC servo's helps.

Japanese motor manufacturers are notorious for NOT supporting aftermarket/surplus use of their motors. They consider their technology to be "know how" and not something they give away.
They also consider the motor info they gave to the OEM to be of trade secret status. Thus they protect it well. Don't expect to get much info in a reply from the motor maker anytime soon, if you get one at all.
Reverse engineer is pretty much your only hope....
Sometimes free salvaged motors are NOT worth the price you paid for them....
Have u tryed going onto RCGROUPS i know that they had a lite duty 3 phase driver solution up for controlling brushless motors on small model planes with cdrom spidle drive motors.Having played with cdrom motors I can tell you the wires are as follows:
3 for the motor
2 supplying power to the hall effect's
6 return signal lines from the hall effects
You should also have extra lines coming\going to\from the encoder.
hope this helps you

This post comes a bit late, but maybe you're still interested.
I got the same motor and same problem, but here is my solution http://www.electro-tech-online.com/g...l-sensors.html will have it working soon.
Good luck.
What drive are you using to test it?

I'm testing it using a homemade tip and pic based driver. But i'm underpowering it, cuz i don't have a power supply big enought. the motor is rated at 24 Vdc and has 2 ohms per coil.
