    Default Muirhead servomotor

    Hello,

I currently using by t Muirhead Geared shaft Servo Motor model 18M10B4 (mfg date 6-82) , 115V Size 18 (See attached images for your reference )
Gear part of the motor become worn over time , doesn’t work properly and need to be replaced with new.
This motor is a part of lift up/down system of old Electrical discharge machine.
Since it was manufactured in 1982 can't get any response fro Muirhead (currently Ametek) company.
Any one can help with two options :
    1) Where to buy exactly the same form and function motor.
    2) It is possible to repair / replace the gear shaft. (please advice the company who can do that)
    Thanks in advance

    Thank You and BestRegards,Vitali

What does it presently drive? A small gear box?
What is the technology of the motor, it does not appear to be a brushed motor, is it a stepper?
You say 115v? It wouldn't be a small AC synchronous motor by any chance?
I see 60Hz on one motor!
Have you tried ebay? there is a few on there.

In spite of 6 wires It does not appear to be a stepper at 150v, possibly BLDC with 3 stator wires and three commutation sensors.
If you have the schematics on the machine you may have to find and integrate a replacement, what is the make of the machine itself?
