Slower Jog Speed

I would like to add a button that would slow the jog speed down to 10% of the default jog speed. In other words click the button, and get 10% speed, click again and get 100% speed.

Any ideas?

I would like the same, or something similar.

Have you considered an MPG (manual pulse generator)?

I would also like to create a full-function jog pendant that has similar features to a standard, commercial machine but I don't really have all the knowledge to do so yet. I am slowly digging into it and I will build something one of these days once I figure out exactly what I want. I think a lot of people would like to see such a thing and I see a few out there, but I haven't found any I care to purchase.

Like most of this, I not sure how to incorporate MPG.

I did find that I could take the Dn, Slow Jog Rate DRO, and Up keys from Diagonistics screen, copy them to screen 1, and remap the hot key to the - and + on the keypad on my PC, and it works.

So I now have Feed Hold (the poor man's Estop), and the ability to change the jog rate from the USB keypad.
