I am sure these screens can be converted to run with Master 5 so that you can continue using win 98. You will not be able to use all the features that mach 3 offers though.

BTW It has been mentioned to me that these screens swap over much more quickly from page to page since It only has to reload two jpgs, unlike the existing screen where it has to load many 10s of bitmaps, even though they are smaller.

You're new screen is VERY easy to install, It took me about a minute or so to install it once the program was unzipped.
Good job, altho I did change the fonts to HemiHead426, I'm sort of partial to that one.

Yeh you can change the fonts to what ever you want, i just selected the look of a realistic display. Here are some others types too. including the very old 70s burnt orange display found on pinball machines. You can even do an LCD display with a green background, but until those unfortunate white lines are removed from around the DROs It will look crap. Art has promised to remove them soon.

I loaded these up last night - I have yet to really get into playing with them, but so far so good. I followed your directions as instructed - somewhat confusing at first but like you said - it takes just a minute or two to install.

Thanks YNNEB!

Sorry to hear this Benny, I was looking forward to using this. I'm not running a machine at this point and don't have time currently to concentrate on the software stuff [I'm building and in a mechanical frame of mind right now.. smack dab in the middle of fabricating my machine]. However, having said that in about 1.5 mnth's I plan to have a big need for this and will be working through mach, learning how to interface it w/ my system. Sorry to see you pull it, I think given time you could get alot more people interested than you think. Not to much happens in huge steps these days, but you can go a long way w/ just small ones. I don't think Art sold huge numbers of Mach when he first put it out either, it was in his continuing that it became what it is today. You never know where the future will take you give time and patience

All the best

Jerry
