    MODBUS

Can someone please shed some light on my problem
Getting modbus working with a hitachi x200 ?
I have read for days on this and i believe i have it set up correctly
But i get timeout errors once i open the port and try to read data
    I have a rs232 to rj485 on a pci serial port card
I get no errors in mach opening and closing the port so this much
    I think is right
I have the baud rate and settimgs setup on the pc to match mach
I have the swith on the vfd to rj485
Seems to be from the converter to the vfd where my probl lies
Just not sure where to look now
Here is the rs232 adapter I am using. Not sure how you tell which is the right RS232-RJ485 adapter
    to us
If someone could possibly check this out to see if i am on the right track here

    Have you found any answers?

I just bought a spindle and Delta VFD. I want to controll it with Mach3, but don't even know where to start.
