SimpleMill - A very simple 3 axis screen set

SimpleMill is a simple three axis screen set for Mach3. I use about 1/10 of the stuff that is on most screen sets with my milling of Experimental Aircraft parts.

If you are a Mach3 user, and do a lot of 2.5d CNC milling, this may be the screen set you have been looking for.

    Check it out at: http://www.mrrace.com/SimpleMill/

    Hi Gerry:

You can probably see that you were the inspiration I needed to learn machscreen and do what I did. I live west of you in the Albion MI area.

Is that the Force Reference All function 246?

If you think that would be a good addition to a very basic setup I will find a place to add it in.

    Thanks for the suggestion,
    George

    Hi Kasari:

I am not sure what you mean, but here are the steps to install and run SimpleMill in your Mach3 folder.

Download the SimpleMill.Zip file from my site.

UnZip the file and you will have a folder called "SimpleMill" and two additionals files that end with .set. One is a three axis the other a 4 axis.

Next copy the complete "SimpleMill" folder into your Mach3 "Bitmap" folder. Then copy the two .set files into your "Mach3" folder.

Start Mach3, click on view, load screens, and select the .set file you wish to run.

Let me know if you are still having problems.

Yes I believe thats the one. I am using your screen on one of my setups, I like it, you don't need to change it. Myself, when I start my machine, I like to push the ref all button to send all my axis to home, it is not a big deal to not have it as I have a simple nc file to open to do this. Again nice job.
