    Red face Mach3 DRO Reconfigure

I have a machine where the X axis is homed/zeroed all the way to the right and of course moves from right to left. Because all the movement is on the left side of zero, everything displayed in the DRO is a negative number. I would like to reconfigure the DRO so the display is reversed showing + (positive) numbers rather than - (negative) numbers. This would make it a lot easier on me because I hand code all of my G-code. I had Mach setup to do this until my hard drive crashed a few days ago and of course inadvertently reformatted the hard drive with the backup on it. I've been through all the settings hoping my memory would be jogged but no luck. All I can remember is that it was a very simple fix, of course. Any ideas?

    Thanks

You can change the homing/limit location to whatever you want (i.e. X= +120.000"). Within the Homing/Limits dialogue, there is a setting for homing negative.

Another option would be to reverse the X axis AND Y axis motor outputs. I think this is done with the direction signal (active low or active high).

Disclaimer!!! I have been awake for 36 hours. Will someone come along and educate us both?

    Cheers,

    Rob
