a few months ago I left a job to work full time in my own shop. the job was cnc machinist at a local company. they have some die cast machines and they are pretty old. they have their own service techs. well one of the guys from there stops by my shop and tells me that one of the operators crushed his head in the press. killing him instantly of course. one of the other guys had to open the mold and the body fell to the floor. thet sent everyone home for the day. oh yeah, the molds operate at like 1000 degrees watch yourselves my brothers. when someone asks you to run a machine without guards on it just remember what I am telling you today. billy |
