hmm,

Well, I wasn't referring to that kind of paranoia nor to that solution too.

The only solution I was referring to, is the Rasta hat our brothers created for thier long hair a long time ago (well not that long compared to pot)...tried to post a pic to make it clear...but some people for some reason, will see a tree when looking at a Rasta hat

My advice is, if you can remember to tie it back, EVERY time, do so. Otherwise, cut it. I was reminded this week of a young woman at Yale who was found dead in the University machine shop because her hair got tangled in a lathe chuck, and she bled out, unconscious, on the shop floor. You don't get a second chance.

It has been my observation that is is always best and easiest to learn from the mistakes of others; that being said, I'll borrow a line from Clint Eastwood's character Dirty Harry, "Do Ya feel lucky?" Well do you? There is always a chance that you might get away with ignoring warnings, but when we look back at the words of those whom have intimate knowledge of systems, industrial practices and past errors One has to question why someone would do something when the educated majority has clearly stated the potential ramifications of any given set of actions. A slight digression - the Engineers of the Space Shuttle program clearly stated that the Shuttle Challenger should not be launched; we know how that ended. Some individuals do things out of ignorance, but when you've been told, and possibly shown, what could happen why would you persist in a course of actions that has a high probability of resulting a a known outcome. But then you might just get lucky. There is a huge difference between an accident, unforeseen, and an incident, foreseeable. Is the outcome worth the risks?

John, I have to agree. A machine shop can have death in every corner. Vigilance is the key.

Yale student dies in chemistry lab accident - CBS News

Wear your long hair if you want to, but have a bond posted so I don't have to clean up the mess.
