Question: I'm going to be building one of these regardless, but I was wondering... How deep will it cut? like if I have a 6 inch block of wood, can I go all the way through it 6 inches, and have some parts be 6 inches tall? What I have in mind is, I want to make molds for face plates for various costumes, that I can then use a vaccuforming machine on... It would probably have to be 10" x 6" and would have to go from 0" on the edges all the way to 6" or so at the top of the arc, and be able to cut in the details. Thoughts? |

| If it can't, you can always use a CAM program to slice up your part, cut it in seperate layers, and glue them together to achieve the final size. This will let you cut part much taller than your machine.
