    How to pick entry point

I have Rhinocam pro. How can I pick a start/entry point for 2.5d profiling? Often times whatever the software picks is ok, lacking the ability to start and stop at a certain point causes problems.

You must change the start point of the curve you are machining.

I believe it is adjust closed curve seam or command "crvseam" for a closed curve.

For an open curve you can do that by specifying conventional or climb milling and the side of the curve you want to machine on or by flipping the curve, command "flip"
