    Machining STL files ... Help!

Does anyone here have any experience machining stl files? I have a project that I need to get done and my guys cam software won't work with stl's. I need to get this going right now and I am in need of someone who can help set these up for machining. I have my own cnc router running WinCnc, but can't generate code from the files.

Try downloading this program at www.stlwork.com . I had good luck with it before I had other programs to machine these files with. I believe the demo will give you the g-code you need. This is by far not the best program to machine with but its very cheap and does the job in most cases. The only files it works with are stl files. Good Luck!

    VisualMill handles STL files fine.
I can't remember 4 sure, but FreeMill likely uses STL too.
