    Control Point curves

Hi I am new to CAD software and have decided to model a guitar.

I am trying to trace a guitar perimeter from a pdf file using control point curves but I don't know where to put the points to get the curve to go where I want it to go. It seems like a bit of a fath. Any advice?

With a control point curve, you place the control points, which are not necessarily on the curve. It takes some practice, you will never get them perfect, but you can readjust them afterwards. You might want to try Interpolate Curve instead. The points so placed are guaranteed to be on the curve. --ch

You probably noticed I created the same thread in the General CAD section where I kinda want the discussion to move to.

A modeller told me to use control point curves as he said my model didn't look right (as in the curvature). But I may have fixed it if u look here Control Point curves (the thread I started in the General CAD discussions)

I would very much like u to express your opinion so I know if I can move onto the next steps.
