Getting two 3d surfaces to flow together better?

I am trying to create a better flow from the volute of this guitar to the
back of headstock. What would the best way to do this be? I drew a 3d
outline of volute and used sweeprails2, but its not looking so good.
    Thanks for any help ,
    Mike Fleck

If you want to use all those blue curves to define the surface then you need to use networksrf. Selecting all the long blue profiles, not the splits and segments, works fine. Select all the curves in one direction, like horizontal XY, then all the other direction.

Thanks, that helped a lot. The only thing I am trying to iron out now is a crease between surfaces when mirrored and rendered. I have been moving control points around on center line, without much luck yet. Would that be the best way to approach the issue?
    Thanks again.

The .dwg's don't contain surfaces so I have no idea what area you're having issues with. You can zip up the .3dm file and upload it (windows right-click send to compressed).

I am trying to even out lumpy areas where surfaces meet. I am thinking I need to be building area differently.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

Not sure exactly what kind of neck/headstock you are intending. The way you've got it now your neck shaft would be 1.388 inches in cross section at the interface to the headstock w/o the FB. That's a 1.5" x-sect with the FB and you're having a rough time trying to blend those because of the huge elevation difference. If your design intent is something more traditional like a .870 x-sect .65 w/o FB then you see that you really can't blend that with the extruded headstock and you'll need to make some new geometry and work on that area of the headstock.

Its not a 3 and 3 headstock, but this is the general idea of what I am trying to achieve.
    Thanks again.
