    Offsetting surfaces they wadd up ..

    I have a bent tube that I need to offset .250

    it keeps wading up the surface any fixes for this ?

    I suspect that you're trying to offset it more than the inner bend radius will allow. If you were to do this with a real tube it would fold... So you're probably going to need to construct it differently so the offset will work, like changing the radius of the bend so it will fit.

    I would suggest rebuilding the tube; I think that would be the easiest way in this case. Construct a curve that travels through the center of your old tube. The select Solid_Tube, and press enter. It will ask you for the inside dia, as well as the outside.

    As chill suggested, you may have to change the bend radius to make this work.
