Hello group
I have been asked by a professional aircraft designer ( R/C UAV ) to machine a Rhino 3D nosecone ( I have helped these blokes out with access to a flying field in country Australia ).
I am sort of comfortable with 2D stuff, ( export dxf's to Mach 2/3 ), I am not sure how to go from 2 to 3D, I am not sure how to make a Gcode file that Mach will read, I have been sniffing around and it seems like V-carve Pro can make the gcode file, as this is basically a hobby I am reluctant to spend $$$'s to find that I can't use it to generate the code.
Any suggestions as to where I should go from here, BTW I have a homemade machine of about 1200mm by 600mm by 200mm and am ready to go.
Is there a service that will generate the code if a drawing is sent to them??
Thanks for your help.

No greater love can a man have than this, that he give his life for a friend.
Vectric's Cut3D and MeshCAM are 2 fairly inexpensive 3D CAM programs. There is also FreeMill at www.cncportal.com for free, but it doesn't give you much control.

Rhino works well with Bobcad V22. Tool path from bobcad works well with Mach3.
