rhino to madcam

I am trying to create an nc program in macdam using a wireframe drawing imported into rhino 3d v4, but madcam will only read surface or solids.

How can a wireframe drawing be converted to suface?

Type into rhino _MeshPolyline then select the set of CLOSED lines.. If there not closed it will not work... If they are all closed then it may be a mess.. If it is a Mess Type Explode (select the part) into the rhino and then "JOIN" the lines back so you may get the surface right...

Or Mesh menu > From Closed Polylines> prompted to select

JOIN will put togather lines and surfaces that touch.. Control+j is the same...

You should have no trouble getting a toolpath, but in the event you do you can convert the mesh... Although if it is a big part then the mesh is small in operating size...

Lastly, After the mesh is on the surface hit the F10 to see all the points that make the surface, from here you can munipulate endlessly....
