How to quantise a curve into steps?

I'd like to mill a cone shape out of multiple layers of MDF stuck together. However, I do not want the milling machine to taper the edges. All I want is for the machine to cut a series of circles that I can stack on top of each other.

How do I convert a solid cone in Rhino3D into a series of disks?

If the height of the cone is 30cm and I'm using sheets of MDF that are 2cm thick, I'd like Rhino3D to be able to convert my smooth cone into the 15 disks so that I can feed those dimensions to the milling machine.

I think this is what you are asking. In Rhino if you have the cone defined as a surface go to the > [curve] dropdown menu and then click on the >[curve from objects] menu at the bottom and the select> [contour]. This will slice any geometry at whatever interval you set in the command line. I then defined a surface and used the project command to push the curve profiles to [0] Zaxis and shuffled out. You can then just profile the curves at this point in MDF. see photo example attached.

    hope this helps,
