    Unhappy Outline

If I import a part from AutoCad, it does not seem to have a surface. JUst the lines that make up the part. How would I go about after I have joined or grouped the lines to get the surface so I can extrude the part as a solid? I can extrude the part as isbut it is hollow inside. Just haveing the extruded lines forming and empty wall. Thanks.

Make sure to set the option "cap = yes" in the extrude command. The extruded lines will then become a solid.
