Explode the blocks first, then try the fillet command, with the join option.
Hi everyone. Im not really that good with rhino yet, still learning.
I have a file that was created in Adobe Illustrator, when I open it in Rhino the parts are all grouped together with each other. The file is designed to be cut on a laser cutter but I want to modify it to be cut on a router. Need to add curves into the corners and slots to make it work.
Once I add the curves in, how do I cut up the polyline to remove the unwanted areas?
I have attached the file to show what I mean with the grouping. I can create the curve easily using the slice tool If I create new polylines. I just cant do it on the existing ones. There is also another file I have attatched to show what I need to do on all the internal corners of the file.
Any help would be great,
John

Gerry to the rescue again!
Explode worked great. I have been creating the circles and then using the slice tool to remove the unwanted parts of the circle and lines.
Could you explain why/how to use the Fillet and Join in what im doing?
