You probably should post your location. Isn't scraping what you need? There is a guy on that other form that doesn't even allow CNC Zone to be mentioned who does nice work refinishing Bridgeport's. You should probably post some pics, most people I believe are assuming this is a difficult job.

I would love to have it scraped, But i know i cant afford it
heres exactly what i want done

1. bolt base upside down, grind flat bottom
2. flip base , regrind dovetails
3. saddle - regrind dovetails - ensure axis are 90 deg

at this point i would be happy to just have the y axis done, my x axis seems fine

You are showing the Ways been Milled not Ground.
Milling is probably the most common Way to do this.
You will need thicker Gib strips to make up for the lost Material.
Additionaly the ways could be scraped after Milling.
This procedure done in a Machine Shop would likely cost more then a brand new X2 Machine.
Maybe finding a Friend with a Bridgeport type machine that is willing to do it for cheap is your best bet.
Grinding the Ways is likely to double the cost, there are fewer option on finding someone with the required equipment.

well... since i could not find anyone to fix my mill base, I purchased a replacement one from little machine shop.com and it works much better. Thanks
