Greetings to everybody!

Our enterprise has recently purchased a laser cutter. At this moment we plan to increase its work load, so we decided to accept orders for laser cutting. As we are new to this equipment, we do not know how to charge our customers. I will highly appreciate, if you share your opinions regarding the pricing. We are interested in prices for cutting ferrous metals, stainless steel, aluminum. More over, these materials can be different in thickness, such as 0.5-1 mm thick to 18-20 mm think. Of course, we understand that the final price will be based on different factors, insluding the complexity of the part. But at this moment we just want to understand how to make up our prices (say, there is a price for a certain thickness and then a certain coeeficient is applied for each additional millimeter or inch). In summary: "How much does it cost to cut parts on a laser cutter?" I would highly appreciate any input from you. Your price indications can be either per hour of operation or per millimeter (square millimeter).

Thank you in advance!
