M500 Super Slow 'Off Cut' Speed and Too Much Power 'Flash' at Beginning Of Cut.

Hi All!

I purchased an M500 about two months ago and finally got around to setting it up. Running into two issues:

1 - Extremely Slow. Even with the speed 100% the machine moves incredibly slow, that is, UNTIL it gets time to cut - then it moves quickly. So only fast movement on cutting/engraving. Even pressing the buttons on the machine itself yields a slow movement from the motors (movement almost not visible).

2 - Beginning of cut there is a pause where the head doesn't move, but laser is on, and then it'll complete the required cut. So for example a circle I have attached an image here where you can see the origin point with this flashed area.

Any and all help is much appreciated!! I'm also wondering if these need some kind of a ground connection from the frame? Where should I hook it from if so?
