    Any clue about these motors?

I bought these motors from ebay, and have been having some trouble figuring them out... I've googled the serials, but to no avail.

They have 8 wires: Black, Brown, Salmon, Red, Yellow, Green, Purple, and Blue.

They were made by Shinanokenshi Co,Ltd Japan.

The label has three codes on it.

    78-8057-3185-4
    DR-4312-501
22351 (looks like it was stamped, not printed)

I've tested them with a multimeter, and based on the resistances I can group them into 3 categories...

Brown/Salmon/Red/Yellow: erratic and temporary resistance when tested with the black wire. Infinite resistance between members of the group or the GPB group.

The Black wire: erratic (30-150ohm) and temporary resistance when tested with the BSRY group. Infinite resistance between the GPB group.

Green/Purple/Blue: Infinite resistance between the other two groups, but 1.9 ohms between members of the GPB group.

I'm really at a loss here.. I would really appreciate any help.

At a guess I would say you probabally have a DC brushless motor, the three with the 1.9 ohm could be the stator and the other 5 could be Black & Red = common & + supply, The other three commutation for the armature.
As they show high resistance, I would put 5v across the BR and put a volt meter on black to any of the other BrSaYe, rotate the motor by hand and see if a pulse occurs, if ~ 2p/rev then these are commutation, if much more frequent then could be encoder pulses.
If you confirm that they are commutation, there is further things you can do to phase them correctly.

They do not appear to be, from those readings, if you confirm the pulse as I mentioned it may clinch it.
